The Work
As a Lead Configuration Management / Subject Matter Expert, you will :
Join the Configuration Management (HW / CM) team on the Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics program, your mission is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the hardware / software released by the program to its customers.
Duties include :
- Tracking installed hardware / software on training devices
- Maintaining database of program hardware / software and data
- Assigning unique identifiers to hardware / software and data used by training devices
- Supporting engineering reviews and configuration audits
- Reviewing changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
- Develop technical reports, plans, and procedures for qualification tests, supporting various F35-related programs, managing project cost / schedule, leading teams, potentially overseeing Control Account Management, and supporting proposal activities.
Please Note : : This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.
S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

A level 4 employee is typically senior-career and has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience.

Desired skills
- Familiar with Product Data Management Systems
- Familiarity Electrical / Mechanical Schematics, Hardware Design & Architecture
- Knowledge of RMS process and procedures.
- Current Cost Account Management (CAM) Certification or willingness to become certified
- Experience using JIRA Issue and Project Tracking Software
- Focused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly
