Position Summary :
Responsible for the direction and oversight of the Facilities throughout the property to ensure minimal business interruption.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Responsible for oversight of all aspects of the day-to-day operations of assigned departments.
- Ensures Facilities team members are coached, trained, and held accountable for alignment with policies and role expectations.
- Ensures the appropriate flow of information and communication within the assigned departments to maximize efficiency and consistency in all operations.
- Maintains inventories and ensures the timely replacement of required spare parts, units, tools, chemicals, and equipment necessary for proper efficient operating conditions always.
- Participates with Executive Management in the review and decision-making progress of facility upgrades, modifications, and renovations.
- Monitors construction projects ensuring compliance to specifications and quality of contractor / team member performance.
- Ensures that all equipment, materials, techniques, and procedures comply with federal, state, and local codes and regulations to the extent applicable.
- Develops and monitors the budget for all building and construction projects within the Facilities departmental budgets.
- Monitors interior / exterior landscaping ensuring quality standards of the property are maintained.
- Oversees all preventative and predictive maintenance programs, emissions tracking and reporting programs, Building Management system and energy management efforts and projects to always keep facility in proper operating conditions while ensuring minimal business interruption.
- Oversees planning, operations, and maintenance of collection, reclamation, reclaimed, and injection systems of the wastewater plant, to ensure proper asset care and compliance with safety and public health codes.
- Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention and ensures that all team members are properly trained in safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains vendor relationships.
- Develops partnerships with all departments to foster alignment with property goals and provide excellent guest service.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field plus five years of facilities operations management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.Excellent project management skills and a thorough understanding of project management processes and procedures.Must have knowledge of construction contracts, documents, and project administration.General knowledge of applicable building and fire codes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme hot and cold.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.Preferred Qualifications :
High-volume casino experience preferred.
