Job Description : Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
Includes all major EHS activities, so that it can be applicable to individuals with a variety of EHS responsibilities. Identifies, initiates, plans, recommends, promotes, and implements broad EHS programs and projects at Division / Business / Region / Corporate level.
Independently identifies required plans, business justification, resources, schedules, and interactions to accomplish objectives.
Responsibilities :
- a. Identify training and communication strategies;
- b. Create major EHS processes or systems ( compliance, auditing, incident response);
- c. Assemble and lead investigative teams to address serious EHS incidents and develop reaction / resolution plans;
- d. Lead EHS audit or self-assessment programs;
e. Lead a corporate Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) program; and / or
f. Influence development of external EHS standards, guidelines an / or regulations and internal policies, influence facility and / or Business processes to address EHS considerations, and lead EHS impact reduction within and outside assigned organization.
