International IT Security Corporation is seeking a Security Engineer (Penetration Testing / Vulnerability Assessment) to join the team! This position is responsible for providing the professional cyber security services, such as vulnerability management and penetration testing services, to our client companies.
- Position : Cybersecurity Engineer (Penetration Testing / Vulnerability Assessment)

- Location : Irvine, CA / Orange County area
- Salary : $100K plus benefits
- Status : Full-Time / Direct-Hire
- Minimum of 8 hours per day - If you work weekends, you may take a compensatory day off on another day
- Work Style : Hybrid
Job Duty :
- Participating in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for various targets, such as networks and web applications
- Maintaining vulnerability assessment and penetration testing procedures and processes
- Providing hands-on validation of static code analysis results and software composition analysis results
- Conducting cyber security technical consulting with customers
- Responding to inquiries regarding service capabilities as necessary
- Any support duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in computer science / Information Security / Cybersecurity or equivalent field of study, preferred.
- At least two years of experience working with cybersecurity
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities associated with common web technologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
- Development experience using programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc. (preferred)
- Proven experience with vulnerability scanners (Nmap, Burp Suite, etc.)
- A bachelor's degree in computer science / Information Security / Cybersecurity or equivalent field of study, preferred.
