Insurance Underwriter - Investors Real Estate Risks - Towson, MDPartner with agents to manage and grow a profitable book of Property and Casualty insurance business by appropriately pre-qualifying, selecting, and pricing risks within delegated authority levels.

Accountabilities : Profitably grow assigned book of business by writing new accounts $25,000 in premium and above and successfully retaining renewal book as part of portfolio strategy.

Assess Habitational Real Estate Operators & Investors Risks Apartment Buildings, Condominiums, Planned Communities, and other Commercially Managed Habitational Property businesses applying for insurance by evaluating, selecting, and pricing risks.

Determine premium, policy terms, and conditions. Create and present proposals to agents to negotiate deals. Develop and maintain relationships with Agents and Brokers including initial setup of service commitments, and regular agency visits.

Partner with agency plant to successfully pipeline new business opportunities and initiate key renewal conversations. Identify areas of opportunity for improved growth, profit, and diversification.
