The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

• Learn and apply industry and Black & Veatch specific engineering codes, policies, and procedures
• Support continuous improvement and change management efforts
• Perform complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and / or materials selection
• Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering design work
• Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
• Manage and adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements
• Assign tasks to and coordinate with both internal and external team members on complex projects
• Initiate contact with other disciplines as needed to identify and coordinate details of the work.
• Actively seek to understand client interests and drivers through normal client contact and through interaction and communication with project leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in most of following areas :

• Instrument and / or Service Air Systems
• Demineralized (DM) water supply and make up systems
• Service and potable water supply system
• Natural, hydrogen, and nitrogen gas Supply System
• Closed cycle cooling water system
• High Pressure / Intermediate Pressure / Low / Auxiliary Steam system
• Feedwater system
• Condensate system
• CO2 Supply System
• Calculations which include pipe sizing calculations, pipe thickness calculations, pump sizing calculation, control valve sizing calculations, heat exchanger sizing, atm. tank sizing etc.
• P&ID development
• Air, gas, water & steam systems, typical systems which we are looking to perform design & engineering work

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.

Minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
