Essentra is immediately hiring for a Machine Operator on 2nd shift (2pm - 1030pm) located in the Erie, PA area to join our production team.
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for maintaining machinery in cycle time, producing parts within the tolerances allowed and pack quality approved parts for our customers for both injection mold and dip mold machinery.

- $200.00 to be paid at first pay period after hire
- $300.00 to be paid after 45 days of employment
- $500.00 to be paid after 90 days of employment

What you will do :
- Ensure that quality parts are produced and properly packaged and labeled
- Perform cavitation checks as required
- Perform functional gauging as Standards & Instructions requires
- Place molded parts onto inspection table, inspect for quality (sort when necessary)
- Assemble, package, box parts and label according to bill of materials
- Place cartons on pallet, label pallet, and move full pallet to staging area
- Work in a safe manner and identity and report potential safety hazards
- Notify supervisor of any issues with manufacturing equipment that may affect cycle time or part quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ability to work overtime as needed based on the needs of the business
- Follow assigned work instruction(s)
