Job Description
This position requires relocation to Grand Prairie, TX for 90 120 days for training prior to international assignment.
Field Service Technician (FST) will be located in the Romania in support of the HIMARS program.
This is an international unaccompanied extended duty assignment in which the candidate will advise and assist with the maintenance, repair, and operation of the HIMARS FMTV (Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles including HIMARS, RSV and Wrecker), their associated trailers and material handling equipment systems to include the proper utilization of system, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, in accordance with established procedures.
In addition, responsibilities will include contractor maintenance support to the Romanian military personnel in the assembly, installation, testing, operation, calibration, and maintenance from the Field Level through the Sustainment Level.
The FSR shall also prepare and deliver a weekly report to the CLS program manager that outlines technical / repair activities and any supportability issues including failure data.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Must be comfortable presenting and instructing large groups and high level dignitaries.
The FSR must possess good computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and internet navigation capabilities.
Must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
