Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process related to components and materials, including planning, purchasing, inventory management, vendor communication, and material forecasting.
The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the timely availability of quality components and materials to support our production needs while optimizing costs and maintaining inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on components and materials, and possess excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Essential Functions

- Develop and implement strategic plans for components and materials procurement, production, and distribution.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely purchase and delivery of quality components and materials.
- Oversee inventory management processes to maintain adequate stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and reduce stockouts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with vendors, fostering collaborative relationships and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Utilize ERP systems and other supply chain management tools to track inventory, monitor supplier performance, and analyze data for informed decision-making.
- Forecast material requirements based on demand forecasts, market trends, and production schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of three years working in a GMP or food manufacturing setting
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Able to respond to urgent facilities requests in a timely manner
- Ability to work a variable hour schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Being a self-directed problem solver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior warehouse and inventory experience
- 3+ years supply chain management experience
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will supervise tech and lead positions.
Working Environment
This job operates in an industrial GMP manufacturing environment. The working environment may include exposure to outdoor environmental conditions in order to perform general distribution tasks.
The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment including clean room garments such as scrubs. The employee must be able to walk throughout the campus to perform assigned duties.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk and stay active for long periods of time
- Must be able to stoop, squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and push / pull / lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with your hands
- Must be able to communicate basic operational and safety instructions

Pay Range
Salary : $75,000-85,000 DOE
