About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day (6 : 45 a.m. - 5 : 15 p.m.
with call - 3 to 4 call shifts (7 : 00 p.m. - 7 : 00 a.m.) per 4-week schedule, including one weekend call shift Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License : GA or compact license in hand Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Eligible candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius;
local travelers are not accepted. Job Description : Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgery.- Ensure all surgical instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use.
- Help team members to position patients on the operating table and cover them with sterile surgical drapes to prevent exposure.
- Monitor and observe patients, reporting changes in condition to the medical team.- Maintain a sterile environment during surgery by following surgical room procedures.
- Support the surgical team by passing instruments and other sterile supplies during operations.- Participate in post-operative patient care as needed.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety and support efficient operating room turnover.Please ensure your application includes relevant experience and certifications.
