Description :
Weare currently seeking a fulltime Special Education Teacher for theupcoming academic school year. This position offers guaranteedfulltime hours until the end of the school year with the potentialfor renewal based onperformance.
TheSpecial Education Teacher will be responsible for planning andimplementing individualized education plans for students withdiverse learning needs in a selfcontained classroom setting.
We areseeking a candidate who can collaborate effectively with parentscaregivers and fellow staff members to develop comprehensiveeducational plans that address students unique needs andchallenges.
Additionally the Special Education Teacher will berequired to attend professional development sessions provided bythe schooldistrict.
Requirements
- Bachelorsor Masters Degree in Special Education or relatedfield
- Mustbe able to apply for a teaching license in the state of NewHampshire (must be a endorsed in specialeducation)
- Experienceworking with students with diverse learning needs particularly in aselfcontained classroom setting ispreferred
- Strongunderstanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and theability to develop and implement effective educational strategiesto meet studentsgoals
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocollaborate effectively with colleagues parents and supportstaff
