Social Media Manager
Location : 100% Remote (Ideally based on West Coast for PST time zone)
Duration : 7 Months with potential to extend for the right fit
Pay : Up to $83 / hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Social Media Manager that has a background in managing and supporting social accounts for a global brand to join our well known Fortune 500 on a 7 month contract.
This role will be 40 hours per week and could extend for the right fit. This role is 100% remote, but preference is someone based on the West Coast.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities :
- Support the day-to-day planning and activation for social strategy on channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Instagram Broadcast Channel) for a large global account.
- Project manage work from point a to point b along with organizing meetings, update stakeholders with key comms, track timelines, and ensure delivery.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to complete the work for the set social strategy.
- Analyze campaign performance, metrics, insights, and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Understand key audiences for the global brand and ensure that the strategy aligns with their needs.
- Plan and manage editorial calendar in Asana.
- Develop content ideas based on trends, relevant topics, and consumer feedback.
- Publish content to platforms.
Social Media Manager Requirements :
- 6+ years' experience in social and previous experience working with social-first brands.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with social platforms : Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.
- A portfolio is ideal, but not required.
- Any experience working with global markets is ideal!
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment and pivoting when needed.
