About the Opportunity :
Our client, a mission-driven national consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their dynamic team. This firm is dedicated to helping communities reduce homelessness by developing equitable, person-centered housing solutions.
With a focus on supporting local jurisdictions and stakeholders, this role is central to driving impactful change in the housing landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver high-quality technical assistance to client communities and stakeholders focused on housing development and rehabilitation.
- Support counties and grantees in applying for and using funding sources associated with affordable housing.
- Assist in developing appropriate living situations for individuals with complex service needs beyond traditional permanent supportive housing.
- Lead initiatives that embrace Housing First and other evidence-based practices to address homelessness.
- Provide subject matter expertise in affordable housing development, including feasibility analysis, underwriting, and policy development.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- A bachelor’s degree in urban planning, real estate development, or a related field; a graduate degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in affordable housing development, finance, or policy.
- Proven experience in project management for affordable housing, including land acquisition, rehabilitation, and new construction.
- Strong expertise in technical assistance, with a passion for ending homelessness and advancing equity in housing.
Benefits
Location : Remote, USA (Preferably California or West Coast)
Salary : $155,000 - $175,000 per year with comprehensive benefits package
