Receiving Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Core brands include : Permatex®, Fast Orange®, Spray Nine®, the Right Stuff® and Devcon® Home.We are presently seeking candidates for a 2nd S hift Material Handler - Receiving in the Manufacturing Department reporting to Manufacturing Manager.

Hours will be 3 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm, Monday - Friday.Primary responsibilities will include : Supplies and supports manufacturing staging areas with needed materials as listed on shop orders.

Completes required material issue and returned components transactions on an accurate and timely basis.Maintains inventory locations records, recording all inventory receipts, moves and issues.

Responsible for racking and locating inbound receipts.Loads and prepares and / or unloads shuttle trucks according to departmental and operational polices.

Warehouses materials according to described policy and assists in the maintenance of FIFO stock rotation.Performs cycle count activities as specified by departmental procedure and assists in preparing and taking of physical inventories.

Responsible for arranging and completing required paperwork for shipments to OSV.Must be able to complete a bill of lading with the correct information.

Assists in all housekeeping efforts and keeps back pad clean and organized.Promotes and follows all lift truck safety guidelines and procedures and is responsible for maintaining certification.

Pay Rate is $20 - $22 an hour depending on experience. 2nd Shift receives a $.50 an hour extra for shift differential.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.High School graduate / GED with 2 years of prior shipping experience is required.

Must be experienced in driving motorized equipment (High-Lift / Reach Truck Required)Must be able to understand and carry out oral and / or written instructions.

Must recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.Must possess the ability to count and make simple arithmetic additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisionsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.PLEASE NOTE : Our new hire orientations are held the first and third Monday of each month from 8am-5pm.

Our expectation is all new hires must attend new hire orientation before they can begin their new role, regardless of shift.
