We are partnered with a growing hospitality organization in Broward County seeking a Staff Accountant . They are an outstanding business that is growing at a strong rate.

Salary / Hourly Rate :
$70k
Position Overview :
The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities.
There is also an opportunity to be exposed to some finance planning and analysis when working so closely with the company’s Manager.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :
- Perform general accounting duties.
- The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end and year-end closing as needed.
- Prepare financial statements as the staff accountant.
- Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as the Staff Accountant.
- The Staff Accountant will perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements.
- Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant :
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- The Staff Accountant must possess extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with large data sets efficiently.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for the Staff Accountant.
