About The Position
Job Title : Microbiology Technician Job Specialty : Laboratory - Microbiology Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year of travel experience preferred License : In-hand required with submission Certifications : Non-AHA certifications accepted Must-Have : Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions Job Description : - Work hours are 7a-3 : 30p, Monday to Friday.
- Must be able to work every third weekend. - Open to candidates with both MLT and MT certifications. - Experience working with Chemistry equipment (ortho vitros).
- Experience with Hematology equipment (sysmex, stago). - Proficient in Microbiology using cepheid, luminex, biofire, microscan, and BD bactec systems.
- Accepting first-time travelers. - Required 16-hour orientation non-billable. This is an opportunity for skilled Microbiology Technicians to join a dedicated team and contribute to important laboratory operations.
