Position Summary

Redwood Trust is seeking an energetic, creative, and out-of-the box Graphic Designer that would like to broaden horizons and gain more experience in the diverse world of Marketing, Design and Visualization.

This position is ideal for someone early in their career looking to grow and develop their skills.

You will work with the VP, Visual Design and members of the Marketing Team to design and edit marketing campaigns delivered to our target audiences.

You will also learn the ins and outs of the real estate finance business and contribute to the success of the company. In this role, you should be knowledgeable in design theory and proficient with design programs.

You must also possess a mix of creative and technical skills and have the flexibility to work quickly while remaining detail oriented.

Some responsibilities include developing creative first looks, preparing art files for print, working with templates, and making necessary revisions.

We are looking for someone who can think strategically and show adaptability who has a passion and a knack for design and an understanding of marketing.

You will work closely with different members of the Marketing Team to produce original content in various formats, including videos, blogs, podcasts, social posts, ads, and landing pages.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities : The Graphic Designer will be performing multiple tasks which include the following but not limited to, other duties may be assigned.

• Create and design digital and print collateral
• Present design drafts to the appropriate managers and work collaboratively to incorporate any feedback
• Design social media images for weekly content calendar
• Design images for the website and blog posts
• Stay abreast of the latest design principles
• Be involved in the planning and producing of innovative marketing campaigns
• Provide design support for event marketing through email, social media, and collateral for conferences
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects on time and on task

• 1 - 3 years of experience in Graphic Design is preferred
• Experience in Financial Services and Real Estate Investing a plus
• Knowledge of Adobe Design Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
• Understanding of Typography
• Knowledge of layout, spacing, and therein
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JS is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates quick thinking, creativity, and can-do attitude
• Self-starter and good presenter, and can develop relationships quickly and successfully
• Passion and desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow the Redwood brand
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate well with others and maintain a professional demeanor
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
• Collaborative, goal-oriented and organized are all a plus

A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is 90k - 120k. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
