Location : Various locations across Georgia

Histotechnologists prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination, aiding in the diagnosis of diseases. They utilize various techniques to ensure specimen quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control.
Assist pathologists in diagnosing diseases by preparing samples.
Document and record laboratory procedures and results accurately.
Stay informed about new histology techniques and methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in histotechnology or related field.
Certification by a recognized body (e.g., ASCP).
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Good organizational and time management skills
