Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Core Thermal Hydraulics Software Engineer

Position type : Full-time, Contract

Duration : 6+ months contract

Location : 100% Remote

As a(n) Core Thermal Hydraulics Software Engineer you will :

Must have :

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D in Mechanical, Nuclear, Computer Science, or other relevant technical Engineering area from an accredited university

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the nuclear or relevant industry with a B.S. degree, or 3+ years with an M.S or Ph.

D. degree with demonstrated ability to perform the software development and nuclear reactor core thermal-hydraulic analysis

Proficiency in Python programming and experience using Git (or similar) version control systems. Preference will be given to candidates who are also proficient with C++

Experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) program and Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) standards highly preferred

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills due the NQA-1 environment and requirements for formally documenting calculations

Experience with nuclear reactor subchannel or systems codes (e.g. RELAP5-3D, TRACE, COBRA, SLTHEN, SABRE4, etc.) preferred

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range* : Between $70-$90 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
