POSITION
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a part of a tight-knit and professional team providing support to a growing customer base from all over the Southwestern United States.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for learning and an interest in the food service industry. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with inbound and outbound customer calls, will be expected to demonstrate initiative and integrity in dealing with a diverse customer base and perform other related duties assigned by the department supervisor.
Working from our headquarters in Rancho Dominguez, CA, the Customer Server Representative ensures order accuracy and product availability by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of product offerings, special order parameters, and delivery options.
You will also be aligned with other staff members with an emphasis in grocery, retail, or wholesale food service to share goals and objectives which will result in exceptional service, customer retention, and satisfaction.
Scheduled shifts are full-time, regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- 1+ year experience in a Customer Service role.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Consistent and meticulous attention to detail.
- Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work occasional weekend shifts.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Foodservice and / or wholesale work experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Ability to prioritize job duties on the fly.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
