About The Position

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a skilled nursing facility in Rancho Mirage, CA for a 13-week contract with the possibility to extend.

• he ideal SNF SLP will have a minimum of 1 year experience in the geriatric population.?ew grads are encouraged to apply.
• his can be a travel or a local assignment.? Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist : "* One 1 year experience in Speech-Language Pathology in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred, new grads are encouraged to apply
• Provide short-term rehabilitation, geared toward a functional return home
• Deliver restorative therapy to improve the quality of life of the long-term residents in the facility
• Interact with families and nursing staff on patients* after-care programs
• Capability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Successful completion of competency and proficiency skills evaluation specific to the requirements of the position upon hire
• Provide recommendations to the Director of Rehab and other team members
• 36 hours guaranteed
• 13-week assignment
• Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner
