SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT, VICE PRESIDENT, GDS
Job responsibilities : Successfully create, negotiate, manage, and optimize strategies that create positive financial impacts for key Global Distribution Systems (GDS) partners Effectively balance owning multiple key travel supplier relationships including : GDS, NDC and other consolidator (content) relationships Involvement in product driven projects targeting sales and revenue growth Manage and source multiple preferred Global Distribution Systems (GDS) relationships that achieve successful financial objectives Develop long and short-term strategies and tactics to maximize success and reach targets Ongoing development and optimization of existing relationships utilizing entrepreneurial methodologies that create incremental revenue streams Provide effective quantitative and qualitative modeling and analysis to prove and measure Global Distribution Systems (GDS) agreement value and opportunityRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Advanced applicable Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or travel industry knowledge and experience - 7+ years Demonstrate highly developed analytical skills Exceptional Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook competency Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively while staying organized The ability to build strong Global Distribution Systems (GDS) relationships and collaborate on strategies to drive incremental revenue for key partners through contract negotiationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills : Ability to prioritize to meet various needs and problem solve Experience negotiating and contract management Demonstrates excellent communication skills and is comfortable sharing analysis insights and key findings to executives and clients Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
