Our client is a leading manufacturer in the test and measurement space. They are looking to expand their sales team due to growth specifically in the midwest region.
Description
As a Sales Engineer you will be a highly technical client facing POC. Someone with prior engineering experience who has transitioned into sales would be a great fit.
Seeking experience with metrology.
- Responsible for market analysis and identification of new business opportunities within new and existing accounts.
- Translate uncovered needs into practical applications for the Company's products.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact and conduct product demonstrations.
- Highly technical aptitude and ability to explain complex solutions in a simple manner.
- Responsible for contributing to the market strategy and formulation of new product offerings with the team and the business leaders..
- Develop market models, identify emerging opportunities, and contribute to the overall product road map strategy.
- Design and develop complex technical solutions within the electronics, semiconductor, industrial manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to execute on projects.
- Attend trade shows to represent company, build a network and work with leads.
Profile
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
- 5 years of technical experience with Metrology solutions.
- 3+ years of client facing experience in technical sales capacity.
- Excellent technical skills and ability to sell independently.
- Highly analytical problem solver.
- Excellent written a verbal communication.
