Summary Objective
Performs warehouse control, inventory control and related duties. Uses tools and is responsible for their accountability.
Resolves any material needs, solving material problems and inventory control issues as they arise.
Essential Functions
1.)Receiving Materials
- Identify area designated by Inventory and Logistic Supervisor
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas
- 2.)As materials are received from truck;
- Confirm receiving paperwork has PO, job number and material list with description of items
- Confirm counts of all items against receiving paperwork are correct
- Confirm no damage to any items received, including packaging
- If any discrepancies, damage, lack of information, etc., list on Receiving Inspection Report and notify Inventory and Logistic Supervisor, Plant Manager, PM, and APM

Complete Receiving Inspection Report with ALL deliveries. To be filled out complete with all necessary information and signature of receiving personal. Additional
information to be filled out with complete list of items when no receiving paperwork provided from vendor
- 3.)Update Receiving Log;
- Confirm counts, description, types, sizes, etc., from receiving paperwork to issued PO, valve list / instrumentation / mechanical list etc., in Receiving Log
- If any discrepancies, damage, lack of information, etc., notify Inventory and Logistic Supervisor, Plant Manager, PM, and APM immediately
4.)Shipping Materials
- Maintain loose ship list created by Plant Manager, Shop Foreman, DPM ,PM or APM, for all loose ship items
- Label loose ship crate with Job Name, Job Number and Identification Number (Crate #1, #2 etc.)
- Prepare crating to accept loose ship materials as they are received from the fab shop floor
Identify and label each item as received from vendor and place into pre-built loose ship crate or in designated area. Maintain designated areas / crates, for loss prevention
Take picture of item with affixed temporary labeling and document on loose ship packing list; type, quantity, date, crate number, etc.

- Before sealing crate for final shipment;
- Verify items are packaged in a way as to no damage will occur during transit
- Verify all quantity, sizes, counts, pictures etc. of packing list documentation is correct
- Transfer pictures to CD and affix on inside of crate for ease of identification to customer
- Verify all crate packing list is accurate and signatures of packaging personal has been completed
- Affix copy of crate packing list inside and outside with any necessary MSDS sheets
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional fabrication environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines and often utilizes factory equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, fork lifts and other large machinery required to move inventory.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Monday through Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
Travel
Anticipated up to 15% travel for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job sites and conferences may be required.
Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Preferred Education and Experience
A minimum of 2 years experience
