Hospital Medicine Certified Nurse Practitioner : 8 Hour Shift
We are looking for a Certified Primary Care Nurse practitioner to be responsible for providing Hospital Medicine (Hospitalist) and Primary Care-focused care in our organization.
You will develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, educate patients on disease prevention, perform diagnostic tests, and manage overall patient care.
Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities :
- Providing primary care to adult in-patients
- Performing initial examinations and follow-up examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
- Recording patient medical histories in electronic medical records
- Diagnosing and treating health conditions.
- Formulating treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases.
- Educating patients on lifestyle habits.
- Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests.
- Counseling patients.
- Prescribing medications
- Managing overall patient care.
- Educating patients on preventative care and disease management.
- Complete documentation in electronic medical records at the end of the encounter
