Nurse Manager - RN - Registered Nurse

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Manager - RN - Registered Nurse

• 8-hour Day Shift Available
• 10-minute commute from downtown Cincinnati

Nurse Manager - RN - Registered Nurse Qualifications :

• Current KY or OH RN license.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in a Long-Term Care.
• English language required.

Nurse Manager - RN - Registered Nurse Job Summary :

• Provide management for the assigned unit and / or department.
• Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care, initiating corrective action where necessary.
• Perform daily rounds with a formal report to the Director of Nursing Service and Administrator.
• Responsible for obtaining Medicare and Medicaid certification numbers.
• Observe infection control procedures relating to nursing services.
• Maintain resident medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Orientation, training and distribution of work assignments of nurses and nurses aides.
• Counsel nursing staff and recommend disciplinary action when necessary, to the Director of Nursing.
• Observe residents’ reactions to medication and treatment.
