Project Manager

The Project Manager will be to oversee all details of a project from sales through delivery, working out and specifying details to a high standard, and as efficiently as possible, to keep the client wowed’.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate information between company and its customers, ie : drawings, deposit invoice
- Superior client communication from start to close out of project
- Send inquiries to suppliers to get quotes, as needed
- Send POs to suppliers for all project items
- Facilitate communications from vendors to team members ready dates, etc.
- Manage project delivery details and expectations with warehouse team
- Create all packing lists and shipping labels for warehouse team for project shipment
- Manage and facilitate any punch issues post project delivery
- Work towards team goals of on time deliveries, in full, with no punch issues
- Manage GP of each project by negotiating best pricing with vendors, when applicable
- Travel to installation sites as necessary.
Key Skills and Capabilities Required
Experience of furniture manufacture
- Knowledge of furniture assembly, materials and fittings
- Basic grasp of engineering drawing and principles, and understand the qualities of melamine faced particle board, laminated particle board and fabrics, and limitations of standard materials
- Ability to work in a team communicating and liaising with other team members to hit common goals and deliver projects Literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to work with CRM
- Build strong customer / supplier relationships, exceptional service and a can do’ attitude that surprises customers.
- Ability and commitment to hit deadlines
- Able to communicate well and run meetings professionally with internal team or suppliers. Ability to work with attention to detail and Design awareness
