Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Civil Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling complex commercial litigation and business litigation cases.
You will be expected to provide legal advice and representation to clients in various legal disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and employment disputes.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Manage and prioritize a large caseload
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and judges
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Attorney
- Strong knowledge of complex commercial litigation and business litigation
- Ability to handle a large caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar where the position is located
