The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks a Social Media Specialist III to join the Museum’s Public Affairs department. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Public Affairs, the successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement digital communications strategies for Museum initiatives across the Getty’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn) on behalf of the Museum.
This will involve working with various departments within the Museum to identify and help shape potential content for social media that engages our followers and helps build new audiences.
Potential content would support the Museum’s exhibitions and public program offerings, the Museum’s varied collections, special conservation initiatives, and widespread education programs.
Salary info : $81,312 - $107,732 Annually
