About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Oncology Job Specialty : Nursing Med Oncology Job Duration : 16 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00), likely Night Shift Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 2 or more years of inpatient medical telemetry experience, preferred oncology and chemotherapy certification experience License : Must have an active MD or Compact License at time of submission Certifications : AHA BLS and ACLS required Must-Have : Not suitable for first-time travelers Job Description : Adhere to the 50 Mile Radius Rule;
local candidates not accepted- One position submission policy : candidates should apply only for their top choice- Flexibility required to float to various units as needed- 13-week assignment with shifts including every other weekend / holiday as needed- On-call not required- Required to go to the lab within the first 4 days after signing the contract to avoid a 2-week delay- Must provide two satisfactory professional references from recent employers : one supervisor / manager and one charge RN- Must be comfortable floating within the hospital without restrictions- Return staff policy : candidates must be away for at least 6 months before reapplying- Orientation : Non-billable, 24 hours- Flu Vaccine required with no exemptions- Candidates will be the first to float within the hospital
