Senior IT Manager, Financial and Planning Systems (Remote)

Primary Responsibilities

Manage ODP financial systems including Oracle Fusion ERP Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite, Sales Accounting, Oracle EPM, Vertex.

Key processes include Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Expenses, Point-of-Sale Cash Office business processes and back-office systems.

• Work with third-party vendors to implement and configure new systems, maintain existing systems, manage major system upgrades, and troubleshoot issues.
• Drive innovation, business processes, and requirements; motivate cross-functional teams across IT and business functions.
• Drive standards and governance across all financial and planning systems. Assist in developing and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Oracle Finance processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with organizational standards.
• Be in the details and act as a business leader, owning data governance, process flows, customer experience, etc.
• Participate in and influence Agile ceremonies including planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, team retrospectives, daily scrum, elaboration of epics and themes, writing user stories, and developing acceptance criteria.
• Manage prioritization of projects / defects and work with teams to ensure proper resourcing and scheduling to resolve them.
• Manage cross-functional business stakeholders and drive system automations, quality assurance, and processes to improve operational efficiencies of business operations.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Oracle Finance processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Education and Experience :

• Level of Formal Education : Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Area of Study : Accounting, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent
• Years of Experience : Minimum 10 years experience in related field
• Type of Experience : 7+ years of experience overseeing financial system functionality and providing analysis, designs and solutions related to the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, electronic payments, revenue recognition and fixed assets
• Technical Competencies : Well versed in Order-to-Cash, Credit Card Payment Processing, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, EPM processes Familiarity with cloud architecture and design
• Skills and Ability : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including for non-technical resources and executive management.
