Job Title : Associate Attorney with PIP Experience
Location : Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Our prestigious law firm is seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience and a strong background in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a desire to transition into Personal Injury law. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in handling a diverse caseload.
Requirements :
- Florida Bar License : The candidate must possess a license in good standing to practice law in the state of Florida.
- Case Management : Ability to manage a large efficiently and active caseload from filing through verdict.
- Self-Starter : Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals.
- Client-Focused Practice : Pride in maintaining a client-focused practice.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, including investigators, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and clients.
- Discovery Skills : Ability to assemble and organize information gathered during discovery for presentation at trial.
- Courtroom Presence : A strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases.
- Technical Proficiency : Competent and proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Legal Drafting : Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions.
- Litigation Skills : Respond to motions and discovery; attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
