Job Title : Quality Coordinator
The Opportunity : The Quality Coordinator will provide administrative support as necessary for the Quality Department. This role is responsible for performing a variety of functions to ensure all goals associated with the Quality Team are completed accurately and on time.
The coordinator is the chief support for the Corporate Quality Manager, Quality Manager(s) and Quality Inspectors.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist Corporate Quality Manager
- Handle Field communication
- Maintain files (hard copies and electronic) for Team's beneficial use
- Approve / manage invoices in company operating / accounting system for all Quality Department charges and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Assist in the management of the Departments Job Cost (Recap)
- Aid in Maintaining Subcontractor Pre-Qualification database
- Maintain and create reports as needed from system inspection
- Coordinate team meetings (including meals), as needed
- Coordinate retreats, as needed
- Maintain and manage Quality Short Tracking System, Storage and Distribution.
- Aid in creating and distributing quarterly Quality Bulletin
- Coordinate Quality Team travel arrangements, as needed
- Complete Quality questionnaires and pre-qualifications submitted by Estimating / Marketing in a timely manner
- Maintain and manage the month Quality Champion information including the creation of reports that are distributed to the Corporate Quality Manager and VP of Corporate Safety.
- Assist in compiling materials for trainings and lunch n' learns
- Compile Binders, as needed
- Assist in compiling and maintaining the Quality Soft Services and Quality Code Manuals
- Maintain and update Quality Department page on Bowen's intranet
- Coordinate companywide correspondence, as needed
- Monthly one to one with Corporate Quality Manager
- Provide support that maximizes the efficiency of the Quality Department
- Provide support in the management of systems and information that allows every employee to maximize their potential
- Provide support for a continuous learning environment
- Provide support in development and archiving of systems and information that result in maximizing Bowen's bottom line
- Provide an attitude of continuous improvement
- Aid in the examination of routine processes at various levels throughout the Company in effort to improve each process
- Aid in developing standard operating procedures that streamline the way Bowen Engineering performs its routine business in all departments throughout the Company
- Aid in the development and management of a retained learning library to provide for continual upgrading of our competency and efficiency
- Collect and manage data for the Quality Department, as needed
- Maintain and manage Employee Certification Tracking System for Quality Team
- Attend trainings / classes as needed and permitting to promote continuous professional and personal growth
- Provide any and all support that is required for the Quality Department to met the desired goals and achieve the desired results (copying, mailing, typing, proof reading / correcting documents, faxing, filing, etc)
- Support / Assist Viewpoint items / issues, as time permits
Must-haves in a Candidate :

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines as assigned
- Ability to handle large and sometimes confidential projects
- Strong competencies in Microsoft Office Applications
