Job Description :
- Work in a unit comprising 3 procedure rooms, 1 patient per room, 4 bed holding, and 12 bed recovery.
- Collaborate with a team of 22 staff members, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs).
- Day shift operations include 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, and 7 CVTs for a total of 14 staff per shift.
- Function as part of an on-call team, consisting of 2 nurses and 2 CVTs during night shifts.
- Maintain a 1 : 1 patient ratio for optimal care.
- Utilize all GE room equipment, working efficiently with the Meditech and MacLab EMR systems.
- Conduct a variety of procedures including Cardiac Cath, PTCA, stents, and structural heart procedures.
- Exhibit strong teamwork, critical thinking, and a patient care focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the unit is essential, as on-call duties are frequent.
- Adhere to the dress code of surgical scrubs provided by the unit.
- Participate in daily huddle calls to foster relationship development with the Director, staff, and patients.
- Be part of a department with a gold seal of approval, known for being well-run with an excellent Director.
