Job Type : Contract

- Middle School caseload

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of the student's health condition and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the student's healthcare team and parents / guardians.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and medical interventions as needed, ensuring compliance with state laws, school policies, and medical orders.
- Continuously monitor the student's vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status during school hours. Recognize and respond to changes promptly.
- Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, such as seizures, allergic reactions, or other health crises, following established
- Provide education and training to school staff, including teachers and aides, regarding the student's medical condition, emergency procedures, and the administration of medications or medical devices.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the student's parents / guardians, healthcare providers, and school personnel to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to the student's care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of the student's health assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment. Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Serve as an advocate for the student's health and educational needs, working to create a safe and supportive school environment that accommodates their medical condition.
Qualifications :
- CurrentLPN or RN license in California
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in pediatric nursing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to student well-being.

Interview Process :
