Starting rate may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
This position is eligible for full retirement after 20 years of service in eligible positions in recognition of the challenges of front-line mental health work.

Environmental Factors
Duties primarily performed in a clinical setting. Work may require travel off-site. Exposure to communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, potentially physically and verbally violent patient population and other stressful situations may occur.
May be required to work evenings, nights, weekends and extended shifts as the need arises.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of (or eligible for) licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in VermontOR eligible to practice in the state of Vermont via a multi-state licenseAND three (3) years or more of professional nursing experience in the nursing specialty.
NOTE : Must maintain Vermont licensure or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse as a condition of employment.

Special Requirements
Overtime work is required to maintain minimum staffing levels and for unannounced regulatory inspections and is considered a condition of employment.
The ability to work overtime when required is an essential function of this job class.
