We are looking for a Financial Analyst. This position will be based at Pomona, CA.

Role Description :

  • Take ownership of all financial aspects of our plant in Pomona, CA through a robust growth phase and beyond. Support an expansion project currently in execution.
  • Partner closely with Plant Controller, the technical and finance teams to ensure financial transparency and accuracy, execute internal controls, report, analyze, plan, forecast, monitor, and adhere to KPIs while fostering collaboration with finance teams within and outside the plant.
  • Review and analyze financial statements pre- and post-month-end close. Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries and as required.
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and KPIs, providing insights to management, along with improvement proposals.
  • Play a key role in the development of periodic forecasts and annual budgets by collaborating with technical partners, conducting in-depth variance analysis, summarizing results, and explaining outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with technical partners, such as operations, supply chain and engineering to understand business drivers and drive continuous improvement actions
  • Support the organization with product- and material costing to enable smart decisions, e.g. Make vs. Buy
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new productivity initiatives and provide savings calculations while supporting the implementation
  • Track and evaluate CAPEX projects, including ROI analysis and post-implementation reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and accurate reporting of CAPEX spend.
  • Drive all other ad-hoc finance initiatives and contribute to strategic plant initiatives.
  • Coordinate with finance teams and cross-functional partners in other Factories / Headquarter to share knowledge and implement best practices effectively.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial statement analysis and modeling
  • 1+ year of Manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
  • Ability to work with other functional teams across levels and communicate financial information and requirements

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Knime, UiPath or any other automation and visualization tool is a plus.
  • Self-starter with critical thinking abilities to identify potential improvement Execute on those opportunities with minimal guidance and supervision

The pay range for this position is $79,400 - $130,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
