Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Moblile Crisis Assessor Full Time Days 7a-p 3 days per week that provides mental health assessments for contracted referral sources which can include emergency rooms and / or hospitals, recommneds the appropriate level of treatment.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
Demonstrates knowledge of therapeutic and developmental needs of clients from age four through geriatric. Independantly conducts individualized mental health assessments and provides treatment recommendations to the patient, family members and ER / hospital team.
Provides crisis intervention as necessary.
- Facilitate transfer of patient to inpatient facility if necessary.
- Assist with ER / hospita with commitment procedures if appropriate.
- Documents services provded including dispostion of each patient assessed.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Current license in the State of Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW ), Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate ( LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ( LMFT ), Licensed Master Social Worker ( LMSW ), or Associate Professional Counselor ( APC ).
Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital.
Customer hospital means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)
Must have a valid driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE
Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy / counseling.
Experience providing individual, group and family therapy / counseling.
Mobile assessment experience preferred
