SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager, Digital provides top level oversight, management and facilitation for projects which require cross-functional team attention.
While the Senior Project Manager, Digital focuses on these more enterprise level efforts, there are occasions where smaller initiatives require his / her leadership.
The main objective of this role is to assure that all aspects of the project / program are converging at the right time for the initiative to be successful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- An understanding of both waterfall and agile development methodologies.
- In depth knowledge of retail and ecommerce.
- Fluency in the administration and use of Atlassian's Jira and Confluence tools for the documentation of requirements and the management of tasks and issues.
- A high-level understanding of Hibbett ecommerce systems, their integrations, and dependencies.
- Knowledge of and the ability to work effectively across the entire Hibbett ecosystem, including third party teams.
- Organize and track large, enterprise projects / programs. Clarify project scope, proactively manage risks and issues, drive escalations, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve.
- Partner with work track Project Managers / Product Managers to create and maintain a program level view of initiatives and deliverables.
- Responsible for cross-functional communication, assuring that all stakeholders are aware of status, risk and issues, at the appropriate time, from the start to the end of projects.
- Plan for and lead steering committee meetings, as necessary.
- Works to establish repeatable standards and practices within the working teams which best utilize resources and skills, while continually seeking opportunities for process refinements and improvements.
- Support the roadmap process.
- Assist the Director of Delivery with processes and tool sets to optimize efficiency and high levels of communication.
- Manage and nurture external team relationships, holding partner teams accountable for their deliverables.
- Identifies and manages all partner team risks and issues, escalating to sponsors or external leadership as necessary.
- Facilitate communication between work track team members, as necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.

- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to affect positive change, empower people, solve problems, and remove barriers to success.
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment within a fast-moving and growing organization.
- Adept at managing moving targets and quickly changing roadmaps.
