Description & Requirements Maximus is currently looking for a Director of Quality Management to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team.

This is a remote job opportunity. The Director of Quality Management provides oversight for all quality management activities across Maximus divisions, including quality monitoring systems, quality reviews, analysis, reporting, corrective actions, readiness reviews, project reviews, and associated follow-up actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Provide oversight for all quality management activities across the Maximus divisions, including quality monitoring systems, quality reviews, analysis, reporting, corrective actions, readiness reviews, project reviews, and associated follow-up actions.

  • Provide leadership and expertise related to quality management and compliance, including an understanding of quality management best practices, industry trends, and governmental requirements.
  • Develop strategies and solutions for quality functions within business development opportunities at multiple federal agencies, including innovative, cost-effective approaches for quality management meeting contractual and governmental requirements.
  • Contribute to the attainment of business goals through monitoring performance outcomes, effectively influencing change, improving existing processes, and building strong relationships across the entire organization.
  • Define strategies and processes to implement a comprehensive quality management discipline across multiple projects. - Build a team responsible for quality management across the Federal Services division, including both direct reports and staff in a matrix reporting relationship.
  • Direct teams locally and in remote locations. - Continually monitor metrics and performance across multiple projects. - Facilitate the sharing of best practices through project review process, and technical assistance to projects in quality and process improvement related areas.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to projects developing quality plans and methodologies to maintain robust quality management systems meeting all necessary compliance standards.
  • Direct all compliance certifications, including ISO 9001 : 2000 quality management standards and URAC. - Conduct regular management review meetings.
  • Direct the design, development, and implementation of reports to continuously monitor and measure all aspects of quality performance for multiple functional areas and projects.
  • Monitor metrics and engage in activities to improve performance as needed. - Maintain a professional and effective approach of raising and addressing quality assurance issues, suggestions, and complaints.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the escalation of quality issues. - Maintain confidentiality of quality assurance information in compliance with quality policy.
  • Travel to project locations as needed. The Quality Management Director is responsible for directing all quality management activities.
  • Monitor the entire quality system to ensure that acceptable levels of performance are maintained by o Ensuring that metrics are established to measure quality and assure that the processes they measure are within established quality standards o Leading quality system continuous improvement activities o Providing support for management review of the company's quality systems and metrics - Manage day to day maintenance of the quality management system but also to develop quality programs that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines - Works directly with stakeholders to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements - Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly and facilitates uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission - Define / lead / supports accreditation initiatives and activities.
  • Define / lead / supports internal and external audit processes. - Review and approve quality records including non-conforming event reports, corrective and preventive action reports, policies and procedures, document change control, deviation reports, etc.

o Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, sponsors, the enterprise, and others involved in the project. - Build and grow our internal Quality team.

Responsible for establishing performance standards, employee coaching and development, determining employee responsibilities, evaluating performance, and rewarding as appropriate, disciplining, and recommending termination when necessary.

Identifies recruits and retains top-notch talent. - Oversee the updating of Quality Assurance KPIs on all key quality system related performance indicators.

Report out and participate in quality review and planning processes. - Establish and actively manage expectations, provide training and mentoring to drive professional development for team members - Ability to travel up to 25% for work purposes - Completes other duties as assigned.

speedtest.net) - Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router - Private work area and adequate power source - Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.

  • High level of PC skills. - 8+ years quality leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage people and teams.
  • Quality Certification (e.g. Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence). - Proficient with ISO 9001 principles.
  • Must possess strong communication, project management and leadership skills as well as have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The candidate must be highly organized and disciplined and be able to demonstrate their ability to meet deadlines. - Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, high analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team. - Experience in quality management systems is essential. - Experience scaling the Quality function in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to provide effective updates at executive level. - Detail oriented with well-developed organizational and analytical skills.
  • Creative problem solving, flexibility, and good negotiation skills. - Proven ability to drive results to established timelines.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization. - Must have experience managing remote business activities.
  • Must be comfortable and effective acting as a catalyst for change. - Candidate must be performance and results oriented and be able to develop, motivate and lead effective teams.

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.

Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 80,300.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position $ 170,000.00 *
