Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.
Job : Remote SLI in South Carolina
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpret spoken language and sign language for students with hearing impairments
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff
- Assist in the development and implementation of language goals for students
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records of interpreting services provided
Qualifications :
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpreting or related field
- 3.5 EIPA performance score or higher
- Valid certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Proficiency in remote work technologies
