OVERVIEW :

The Director of Property Management Systems manages Conifer's Yardi property management systems, integrations and end users in accordance with Conifer's policies and practices.

The prominent focus of the role will be on managing the infrastructure, strategic initiatives, oversight and performance of Yardi systems maintenance, upgrades, architecture, security, and governance.

The role is responsible for management of the Property Management - Yardi team, the Yardi, property service desk, troubleshooting issues in utilizing the ticketing system in a timely and appropriate manner.

Vendor management, staff management and coordinating with VP of Compliance and SVP of Information Technology as needed, managing capital programs, performing, monitoring, and managing toward service level agreements defined and administered within the department, managing personnel toward assigned objectives and adherence to Conifer policies.

This position requires the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new environments and projects entailing a variety of job activities.

Client interaction will be required routinely, the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Strategic oversite of the Yardi property management system, ensuring accuracy of property set ups

Maintaining the system so it operates optimally for site staff and internal clients

Providing solutions for Conifer and strategic guidance to enhance the Yardi product to better serve the needs and objectives of Conifer

Manage Operational Support SLAs for the department, staff, vendors and ensuring service desk adheres toward these standards

Review software and related configurations to ensure they are to Conifer standards. Ensuring assets are protected in coordination with Governance and Programs

Coordinate work with external service providers related to assigned tasks

Other Yardi software related tasks, projects as needed or assigned

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

Work experience or education equivalent to an associate or bachelor's degree.

Certifications and mid-high level affordable housing knowledge required : COS, BOS, TCS, STAR, COSA, C3P

Mid-level or above accounting knowledge

SQL basic knowledge

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

10+ years working in an affordable housing management software such as Yardi, RealPage, MRI or similar

5+ years Yardi administrator experience a must

Experience working in Freshservice or other ticketing system

Experience with implementation of Affordable Rent Cafe

Familiarity working with 3rd party software vendors and consultants

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

Familiarity with project management principles and planning, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles, and business process improvement methodologies a plus.

Past experience and a thorough understanding of information technology best practices and procedures with ability to effectively coach, mentor and communicate with end-users and other helpdesk personnel.

The salary for this position is $100,000-$120,000. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc.

This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
