Yara Fertilisers India Pvt Ltd is a 100% subsidiary of Yara International ASA. Yara has supplied fertilisers as well as fertilizer raw materials to the Indian market for over two decades.

Yara India has continuously strengthened its footprint in Western and Southern India by providing Crop nutrition solutions with combination of Premium products and Knowledge through unique Farmer centric approach.

To leverage on this and to expand into the northern & eastern geographies of India, Yara acquired Tata Chemicals 1.2 MN MT Urea plant in UP, Northern India.

With this acquisition Yara Indias scale of operation has grown significantly.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be reporting to Assistant General Manager - Process Engineering & Projects. Roles & Responsibilities of the incumbent are listed below :

1. Generation of the necessary specifications / data required for the execution of the modification job

2. Ensuring that all the documents and records generated / supplied are adequate enough to execute the modification job and initiate action to obtain / generate additional documents / data if necessary.

3. Prepare the proposal, correcting the equipment list with specifications / sketches as applicable and ensure that all the requirements are met.

4. To carry out basic engineering and techno-economic feasibility analysis of all modification jobs and timely raises MF-2.

Considers adequate safety and environmental factors during study.

5. Planning and coordinating the modification activities with all related departments or external agencies, as required.

6. Planning Construction and Commissioning of ATR related modification jobs in consultation with initiator dept. and execution agencies.

7. Monitoring execution of modification jobs, update status of in the F : drive on weekly basis and ensuring timely completion.

8. Ensuring adherence to quality plan (if required) during execution of modification jobs.

9. Ensuring updation of related P & IDs and other drawings / documents after completion of plant modifications / changes.

To get MF-3 signed by initiator and close the project.

Other Responsibilities

1. Process modeling and simulation using software for plant improvement or to help resolve plant problems as assigned.

2. To carry out energy / system efficiency calculations.

3. To deal with various vendors for the technical evaluation of any item / product

4. To generate technical / operating data for FICC and other agencies.

5. Preparation of various reports for Department of Fertilizers, and other Govt agencies.

6. Timely preparation of Questionnaire from various ministry & Govt. agencies

Other Requirements

1. Good Inter Personal Skills to deal with people - internal and external.

2. Good spoken & written communication skills

3. Process and computer knowledge

4. Operational expertise

5. Good analytical skills.

6. Understanding of PFD, PID

7. Ability to do various Process engineering calculations

8. Should be Computer Savvy.

9. Sound industry knowledge

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

B.Tech. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering with 2 to 5 years of plant experience
