As a Senior CCaaS / UCaaS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing cloud-based communication platforms that enable seamless, AI-enhanced customer interactions. You’ll architect and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable systems while integrating automation and analytics to improve efficiency and experience. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement next-generation contact center solutions that leverage AI and data-driven insights. The role is fully remote, ideal for a hands-on engineer eager to shape intelligent communications across a high-impact organization.
Accountabilities
- Design, configure, and manage modern CCaaS solutions such as NICE CXone, Genesys, Five9, or Amazon Connect to meet evolving business requirements.
- Oversee and optimize UCaaS environments, including RingCentral, 8x8, or Microsoft Teams, ensuring seamless communication infrastructure.
- Integrate AI-driven automation and agentic workflows to enhance both agent and customer experiences.
- Develop, manage, and secure APIs enabling efficient data exchange across systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver omnichannel customer solutions focused on reliability and performance.
- Implement and maintain Workforce Management (WFM) systems and reporting dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Snowflake.
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards, driving reliability and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute as a subject matter expert in contact center and automation technologies.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience with cloud contact center platforms (e.g., Five9, Genesys, NICE CXone).Proven expertise in designing and deploying CCaaS integrations and automation workflows.Strong background in API development, data integration, and systems architecture.Familiarity with AI-powered conversational systems and automation frameworks.Experience with WFM systems and contact center optimization methodologies.Advanced proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.AWS certifications preferred; knowledge of Kubernetes or CI / CD pipelines is a plus.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.Benefits
