About The Position
Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of three years of current CST experience required License : NBSTSA required (equivalent certifications not accepted) Certifications : BLS Must-Have : - Endoscopy experience required- Must be willing to float when needed- Must have own vehicle due to lack of public transport Job Description : COVID vaccination (dose date on or after October 3, 2023) is required, with exemption forms available for medical or religious reasons.
Approved exemptions will require mask-wearing at all times on site.- Must include COVID vaccination card or exemption form intent with profile submission.
- Applicants must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.- Only up to five days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted.
- Must be willing to work two of the following holidays and associated weekends : - Thanksgiving and weekend after - Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and weekend after - New Year's Eve / New Year's Day and weekend after- Non-billable orientation is 8 hours.
- Must take call rotation; call pay and details will be provided.- Weekend and holiday work may be required as needed.- Interviews require at least two specific dates / times of availability;
vague availability will not be accepted.- Profiles must include work history, pertinent skills checklist (updated within one year), and a supervisory signed reference from the past two years.
Must showcase endoscopy experience, as the role includes endoscopy duties a couple of times per week.- Willingness to float to another associated facility approximately 21 miles away if needed.
