Job Summary : The Training & Quality Specialist (TQS) is responsible for training hourly workers and ensuring quality standards across all departments of the DC. This role delivers comprehensive and engaging training programs that prepare individuals for their roles at DHL, considering diverse learning styles and fostering motivation. Additionally, the TQS conducts thorough audits of employee work and supports identification of root cause issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Conduct training and orientations for hourly and agency workers using the best practice "Training the DHL Way" methodology in all departments.
• Conduct on the job continuous training and cross training including safety and quality methods.
• Provide continuous coaching, motivational and developmental feedback to hourly workers to reinforce training concepts and support with skill development.
• Administer 1st 30 Day SOP and continue developing employees as part of the first-year journey at DHL.
• Conduct comprehensive audits to ensure exceptional quality, including but not limited to reviewing containers for accurate sorting, validating gaylords for correct routing, placards, and container IDs.

Requirements / Skills :

Physical Demands : The ability to lift / push / pull mail and parcels weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequently observe and determine the levels of productivity and output of personnel.

Pay rate : $21.50 / hourly
