Finance Partner

As a key member of the P&T Finance team, you will be the finance partner to Docusign's IT team and the Docusign's Product Management team. Your core responsibilities will include financial analysis and modeling in support of strategic initiatives; preparation of key financial forecasts, including long-range and annual plans, quarterly outlooks, and monthly forecasts; presentation of performance insights and actionable recommendations to management to influence the direction of the business; and serving as collaborator and trusted partner to the business.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Product & Technology Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Build business partner relationships across the DTS & Product Management organization, establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers
  • Partner with the broader Finance team and cross-functional partners on business and financial insights, and process improvements to address evolving business dynamics
  • Develop robust financial models to streamline decision-making and highlight key drivers of past, current, and future business performance
  • Own annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecast processes
  • Create presentations, reports, and dashboards to update senior leadership on the financial performance of their teams and provide guidance on near-term and long-term opportunities and risks
  • Undertake ad hoc strategic projects
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team to continue driving world-class business partnerships

What You Bring

Basic

  • BA or BS in business, finance, economics, or accounting
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Ability to work with large datasets and data manipulation
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
  • FP&A experience in a corporate environment or in a publicly traded company
  • Team management experience
  • Preferred

  • MBA in Finance
  • Prior Investment banking or corporate development experience
  • Ability to work independently, think objectively, and provide meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data and develop strategic recommendations
  • Ability to influence leadership through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis
  • Fundamental understanding of Subscription-as-a-Service (SaaS) business models
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial concepts
  • Experience with financial and ERP systems such as Oracle, Adaptive Planning, and NetSuite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Based on applicable legislation, the following pay ranges are provided :

    California : $177,900.00 - $287,425.00 base salary

    Washington, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York (including NYC metro area) : $170,900.00 - $251,325.00 base salary

    This role is also eligible for the following :

  • Bonus : Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock : This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
