Telemetry Travel RN

• tPlan, execute, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with the health care team.
• tMonitor, interpret and record cardiac EKG strips.
• tMonitor patients’ vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
• tAdminister medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• tAnswer questions and educate patients and families on lifestyle changes, home care protocols, and ongoing treatments.
• tIf necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
• tFlexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• tAvailability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• tWillingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• tAbility to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• tAlso referred to as : tele registered nurse, telemetry nurse, cardiac nurse, intermediate care nurse, IMCU nurse.

Job Requirements

• t2 years of experience as a Telemetry nurse
• tGraduate from an accredited nursing school
• tCurrent state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• tBLS certification required
• tACLS certification required
