We are continuously expanding our team to create innovative robotic solutions that address various logistical challenges.
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Technician based in the Atlanta area to support our customers across the US to join our team and contribute to the deployment, service, and monitoring for our robotic solutions.
As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring well-maintained and repaired robots while also helping to shape the future of our products, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure the successful operation of our robotic system.
Responsibilities :
As a Field Technician, you will :
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime to the customer
- Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to ensure optimal performance
- Document operational data and generate reports to track performance.
- Provide support to customers during product deployment and post-sales phases
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and potential areas for improvement
- Assist sales teams in providing on-site demos to potential customers
- Support production and engineering projects in Atlanta when not traveling to customer sites
Other Information :
Slip Robotics headquarters are located in Atlanta, GA just northeast of the perimeter. This role based in Atlanta and will require 80% travel.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree, technical certification, relevant experience or coursework in mechanical, electrical, or software fields is a plus.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software systems, gained through work experience or educational background.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically in fast-paced operational environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team
- Good driving record and reliable transportation to and from job locations
- Willingness to travel (approximately 80% regional travel).
