Small CAH hospital in OR looking for a 9am-9pm Resource RN. This RN needs ER experience as well as MedSurg / floor experience. ASAP start.
Job Requirements
- Must have two years of experience
- Resource RN with ER and MedSurg experience.
Schedule Information
- 9am-9pm shift
- NOC shift
- Orientation is typically 1-2 shifts depending on how comfortable the traveler is.
Unit Specific Information
This traveler is open to working both MedSurg and ED - Hard to say percentage wise how much they would work per unit (e.
g., 50% ED, 50% MedSurg) because they will be working where they are needed.

Additional Details
- Will not accept holiday RTO.
- For MedSurg : Nurse to patient ratio : 1 : 3-1 : 5 depending on census - Usually 1 : 3-1 : 4. Can go up to 1 : 5 but RARELY happens.
- We always have a total of two nurses.
- Extension offer likely if the traveler is a good fit. This is a float BETWEEN MedSurg and ED as needed.
- Look for housing in Coos Bay and North Bend.
